I led the full rebranding of Hatch & Hash, a creative studio with a bold, high-energy personality. The original identity felt muted and inconsistent, so I crafted a logo system that captured their daring, dynamic spirit while staying flexible for digital and print use. I developed a cohesive brand board featuring expressive typography, saturated color palettes, and a balance of minimalism and playfulness—matching their vibrant photographic style without overpowering it.

The result? A confident, expressive visual identity that resonates with their creative voice and elevates their overall brand presence.

I designed a 100-recipe cookbook featuring contributions from 20 leading voices in the wellness and real food community. This complex editorial project required thoughtful planning and precision. I created clean, easy-to-navigate layouts for each section and retouched all food photography to maintain consistency across pages. The cover and chapter designs were crafted to reflect the warm, grounded spirit of the Paleo Treats brand.

The result? A high-quality, visually cohesive cookbook that celebrates the diversity of contributors while remaining approachable and beautifully organized.

APEALZ needed a homepage refresh that was both playful and strategic. I designed a new layout starting with a wireframe focused on clarity and flow. From there, I applied UX principles and visual storytelling techniques to guide users toward action while modernizing the site’s overall look. The design used bold type, energetic visuals, and a clear hierarchy that aligned with their brand voice.

The result? A visually engaging and intuitive homepage that improved navigation, elevated brand perception, and encouraged higher conversion rates.

I created the visual identity and promotional assets for the first-ever Adams Ave Treasure Hunt, a community-driven event in San Diego’s Normal Heights neighborhood. My role included designing the treasure map, “Star Stop” window posters for participating local businesses, a limited-edition event mug, and a dynamic Instagram Reel to drive engagement and participation.

To reflect the playful, family-friendly spirit of the event, I combined hand-drawn elements with bold typography and a bright, inviting color palette. The map was designed for both function and charm—easy to navigate, while visually tying together participating locations. Posters were designed to be eye-catching from the street, and the social media Reel used motion and music to generate buzz and clearly explain how to participate.

The result? A cohesive visual campaign that energized the local community, increased foot traffic to small businesses, and contributed to a successful launch with high engagement across platforms. The assets balanced fun and clarity, encouraging exploration, participation, and neighborhood connection.
